Queen Margrethe visits Rome - Day 2
On Saturday, Queen Margrethe spent her second day in Rome, Italy. She first visited the Ara Pacis Museum, where she received a guided tour and saw the Augustus Mausoleum. Queen Margrethe also visited the Villa d’Este to see the villa's ornate hall and famous garden, which has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2001.
In the evening, Queen Margrethe attended a reception hosted by the Danish Ambassador in Italy. Photos of the event can be seen here.
Queen Margrethe first wore her Luisa Spagnoli suit with her Luisa Spagnoli bag and her Georg Jensen jubilee brooch.
