Prince Albert and Princess Charlene meet President of Portugal

On Friday, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene met with the President of Portugal at the Princely Palace. This marks the first time a Portuguese President has made an official visit to Monaco.

After the welcome ceremony, Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, and the President exchanged orders. President Rebelo de Sousa made Prince Albert a Grand Collar of the Order of Christ and Princess Charlene a Grand Cross of the Order of Christ.

The Princely Couple and the President then visited the Jardins Saint-Martin, where they toured the photographic exhibition “Oceanographer Sovereign” and inaugurated a bust of King Carlos I of Portugal.

Princess Charlene wore an Emilia Wickstead coat dress with Louis Vuitton pumps and a Philip Treacy hat. Later in the day, she wore a black coat with Louis Vuitton black pumps. She also wore her Cartier earrings.
