Dec 2 King Carl Gustaf and Crown Princess Couple attend Nobel Foundation meeting

On Tuesday, King Carl Gustaf, Crown Princess Victoria, and Prince Daniel attended a meeting with representatives of the Nobel Foundation at the Royal Palace. During the meeting, they were briefed on the 2025 Nobel Prize winners and their discoveries and works.

This year’s Nobel Prize Laureates are John Clarke, Michel H. Devoret, and John M. Martinis in Physics, Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson, and Omar M. Yaghi in Chemistry, Mary E. Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell, and Shimon Sakaguchi in Physiology or Medicine, and László Krasznahorkai in Literature. The Prizes will be presented in Stockholm on December 10th. The Nobel Peace Prize will also be presented on December 10th to Maria Corina Machado in Oslo.
