Swedish Royal Couple and Crown Princess Couple attend the Swedish Academy's festive gathering
On Saturday, King Carl-Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, and Prince Daniel attended the annual Swedish Academy's festive gathering. King Carl-Gustaf is the Patron of the Swedish Academy and members of the Royal Family attend the gathering each year.
The Swedish Academy was founded in 1786 by King Gustav III with the task of promoting the Swedish language and literature. Since 1901, the Academy has also chosen Nobel Prize winners in literature.
Queen Silvia wore a black embellished jacket with her Cartier bracelet.
Crown Princess Victoria wore her Camilla Thulin gown with her Engelbert Stockholm necklace.
