The Duchess of Edinburgh visits Brussels

This week, the Duchess of Edinburgh was in Brussels, Belgium, as Patron of the NSPCC and Plan International UK. 

She attended an event co-hosted by the European Parliament Intergroup on Children’s Rights.  In her speech, she said: “I implore you now, on behalf of the children of today and tomorrow, to redouble your efforts in prioritising their safety. […]Technology companies are in a uniquely powerful position to promote positive change; in developing services which are safe by design; and being proactive in addressing child online harm".

In the evening, the Duchess of Edinburgh attended a reception hosted by the Ambassador to the European Union in Brussels.

On Thursday, the Duchess of Edinburgh took part in a meeting of the Intergroup on the Rights of the Child to discuss innovative strategies to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.

On Wednesday, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore a Victoria Beckham suit with her Gabriela Hearst blouse. She paired the outfit with her Prada pumps and her Sophie Habsburg clutch. She also wore her Giulia Barela earrings and her Mulberry belt.

On Wednesday evening, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore a MATELIER dress with her Jimmy Choo pumps and her Giulia Barela earrings.

On Thursday, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore her Prada jacket with a Max Mara dress (with thanks to Emma) and her Giulia Barela earrings.
