The Prince and Princess of Wales attend naming ceremony for HMS Glasgow
On Thursday, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the naming ceremony of HMS Glasgow at the BAE Systems shipyard in Scotstoun. The Princess of Wales was appointed Sponsor of the ship and she officially christened the Type 26 anti-submarine frigate.
After the naming ceremony, the Prince and Princess of Wales spent time with crew members and their families. They also visited the BAE Systems’ Shipbuilding Academy.
The Princess of Wales wore a Suzannah coat dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Emmy clutch. She paired the outfit with her Philip Treacy hat. She also wore a brooch made by jeweller Simon Porter of James Porter and Son specifically for the naming ceremony.
