Crown Princess Victoria visits Umeå - Day 2

Crown Princess Victoria visits Umeå - Day 2

On Monday, Crown Princess Victoria spent her second day in Umeå. She hiked in Björnlandets National Park as part of her initiative to visit all 31 national parks in Sweden.

By visiting all of Sweden's national parks, Crown Princess Victoria wants to promote outdoor activities, encourage exercise, and get more people to discover what Sweden has to offer in the form of nature experiences.

During her visit, Crown Princess Victoria heard more about the information about the thousand-year-old forest, forest history, and fire dynamics. She also learned about the fragrant tick, an unusual species of fungus that can be found on older seals in Björnlandet.

In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria attended a dinner hosted by the governor of Västerbotten County at her residence to celebrate entrepreneurial women from the 4K platform. The 4K is a platform for women who own, run, or invest in businesses in Västerbotten. 4K stands for: competence, capital, contacts, and customers. Photos can be viewed here.

On the hike, Crown Princess Victoria wore her Houdini jacket with her Lexington Company shirt and her Revolution Race trousers. She paired the outfit with a repeated backpack and her Lundhag boots. She also wore her Engelbert Stockholm necklace and her Edblad Mom ring.

In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria wore her Toteme dress with her Engelbert Stockholm earrings in a shortened version and a repeated necklace.
