King Felipe and Queen Letizia visit areas affected by wildfires

This week, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited areas that were affected by the recent wildfires.

On Wednesday, the Royal Couple were in Castilla y León where they visited Sanabria Lake Natural Park and the Segundera and Porto Mountains, the Las Médulas Park. They were able to witness the damage caused by the wildfires and they also held meetings with first responders, authorities, and residents.

On Thursday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia were in Galicia. They visited the Coordination Centre for the 14th Forestry District in Verín where they were briefed on the situation in the province and the fire prevention efforts. They also met the owners of two livestock farms and a poultry farm that were affected by the fire.

On Friday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia were in north of Cáceres to visit three towns affected by the fires. They met with residents of various municipalities and representatives of the beekeeping, livestock, agricultural, tourism, and agrotourism sectors affected by the Jarilla forest fire. In Cabezabellosa, they met with residents and representatives of the personnel involved in extinguishing the fire and assisting those affected.

On Wednesday, Queen Letizia wore her Imiloa shirt with jeans, her Hugo Boss belt, and her Panama Jack boots. She also wore her Barbara Goenaga earrings and her Coreterno ring.
