Queen Sofia sponsors launch of the F111 Frigate "Bonifaz"
On Thursday, Queen Sofia sponsored the launch of the F111 Frigate "Bonifaz", the first vessel in the Navy's new series of frigates. After the traditional blessing of the ship, Queen Sofia cut the ribbon with scissors, freeing the bottle and its anchors from the ship.
Queen Sofia wore an Alejandro de Miguel green suit.
On Sunday, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, and Princess Estelle attended a concert held at Drottningholm Palace Theatre to celebrate Queen Silvia’s 50 years as Queen of Sweden.
