Spanish Royal Couple and Princess Leonor visit Navarre - Day 1

On Friday, Princess Leonor, accompanied by her parents, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, started a two-day official visit to Navarre. It was Princess Leonor’s first official visit to the Foral Community of Navarre as Princess of Viana, a title created for the heirs of the Kingdom of Navarre 602 years ago.

King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and Princess Leonor first visited the Palace of Navarre in Pamplona. The Palace is the seat of the Government of Navarre.

Afterward, they traveled to Viana where they held a meeting with the Municipal Council at the Town Hall.

King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and Princess Leonor walked along the street to the ruins of the Church of San Pedro, where they saw the exhibition commemorating the 600th anniversary of the title of Prince of Viana.

They also visited the Serrat Gardens, where they were able to see the entire territory that encompassed the former Principality of Viana from the viewing platform.

King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and Princess Leonor then visited the Monastery of San Salvador de Leyre, where the remains of the first Navarrese monarchs rest. There, they paid the traditional homage to the King and Queen of Navarre and the Kingdom of Navarre.

Queen Letizia wore a Bleis suit with her Sézane shoes and a Carolina Herrera bag. She paired the outfit with her Barbara Goenaga earrings and her Coreterno ring.

Princess Leonor wore a Hugo Boss three-piece suit with her Mascaro pumps and a Massimo Dutti bag. She paired the outfit with her CXC earringw
