King Carl Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria attend Day 1 of People and Defense National Conference
On Sunday, King Carl Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria attended the first day of the People and Defense National Conference. The Conference is held at the ski resort Högfjällshotellet in Sälen, Sweden.
This annual conference brings together about 350 participants and hosts 50-60 different speakers for 3 days of discussion, debate, and sharing of knowledge on the world’s security. The focus of the conference is the world's security, Sweden's defense, people's security, and society's emergency preparedness.

The conference holds meetings between politicians, those active within organizations in civil society - including youth organizations - and representatives of trade unions, business, and government. King Carl Gustaf made the opening speech in which he said: “As the People and Defense Conference turns 80, we are reminded of the importance of tirelessly safeguarding our common security. It is a societal responsibility we all share – as is the responsibility to keep the dialogue alive and strengthen our cohesion for the good of Sweden.”
Crown Princess Victoria wore her H&M x Erdem grey suit with her Prada boots and her Hippi Grace bag. She paired the outfit with her Sif Jakobs earrings.
