Queen Sonja opens "Threads in Time" exhibition

On Thursday, Queen Sonja officially opened the exhibition “Threads in Time – From the Royal Steppes to the Royal Carpet” at the Queen Sonja KunstStall. Princess Astrid, who was celebrating her 94th birthday, was also in attendance.

The exhibition highlights the Norwegian tapestry tradition and spans from the 1890s renaissance of tapestries with motifs from legends and the Middle Ages, all the way up to the peacetime after World War II.
