Queen Letizia attends the proclamation of the 2026 Princess of Girona Foundation Prize in the "CreaEmpresa" category
On Tuesday, Queen Letizia attended the event announcing the winner of the 2026 Princess of Girona Foundation Prize in the "CreaEmpresa" category in Huesca.
She first toured the exhibition “Painting in the Present.” which reviews ten years of history of the “Ibercaja Foundation Young Painters Award,” a professional development platform for young artists under 35 at the beginning of their careers. The Ibercaja Foundation co-organized the Foundation’s Talent Tour in Huesca.
Afterward, Queen Letizia attended the ceremony announcing the winner in this category. The jury chose to award the prize to Patricia Aymà Maldonado, a young biotechnologist who transforms waste into sustainable bioplastics.
