King Felipe and Queen Letizia visit Vatican
On Friday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the Vatican and Rome. They were first received in audience by Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican. They also met with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See.
Afterward, King Felipe, accompanied by Queen Letizia, took possession as Protocanon of the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major in Rome. The honorary title has been bestowed on Spanish sovereigns dating back to the 17th century.
Queen Letizia wore a white dress with her Magrit pumps and her Magrit bag. She paired the outfit with her Ansorena earrings and her Coreterno ring.
