King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima host dinner for Diplomatic Corps
On Thursday evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted a gala dinner for the Diplomatic Corps at the Royal Palace.
In his speech, King Willem-Alexander said: ”As diplomats, your role is indispensable. Solutions often start with you. Many breakthroughs come about thanks to your talent for spotting the smallest of openings. Your work is done discreetly and often out of sight. But its impact can be huge. That is why we cherish our Diplomatic Corps.”
Queen Maxima wore her Natan gown with her Gianvito Rossi pumps. She wore the Ruby Peacock Parure.




On Wednesday, Crown Princess Victoria visited a mussel farm outside Dalarö in the Stockholm archipelago together with Race for the Baltic and Ecopelag to mark Baltic Sea Day which is celebrated on August 27th.
