On Thursday evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted a gala dinner for the Diplomatic Corps at the Royal Palace.

In his speech, King Willem-Alexander said: ”As diplomats, your role is indispensable. Solutions often start with you. Many breakthroughs come about thanks to your talent for spotting the smallest of openings. Your work is done discreetly and often out of sight. But its impact can be huge. That is why we cherish our Diplomatic Corps.”

Queen Maxima wore her Natan gown with her Gianvito Rossi pumps. She wore the Ruby Peacock Parure.
