Queen Maxima attends UN General Assembly - Day 2
On Tuesday, Queen Maxima spent her second day in New York City to attend the UN General Assembly in her role as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health. She first attended the opening session of the General Debate with Queen Mathilde.
Afterward, Queen Maxima met with UNDP director Alexander de Croo at the UN Headquarters.
She also attended the inaugural meeting of the Financial Health Leadership Coalition for the Americas.
Queen Maxima also held a meeting with member states today to discuss the formation of the UN Group of Friends for Financial Health.
In the evening, Queen Maxima and the Dutch Prime Minister attended a reception hosted for Heads of States.
Queen Maxima first wore her Natan Couture top with a Tory Burch skirt and her Natan pumps. She also wore her Van Cleef & Arpels earrings.

On Wednesday, Grand Duchess Stéphanie met with Marc Wagener, the new Secretary General of the Luxembourg Red Cross.
