Kate at Gatcombe in 2005

On August 6, 2005, the then-Kate Middleton, six years before she became the Duchess of Cambridge, attended the Gatcombe Park Festival of British Eventing in Gloucestershire, England. It was the second day of the festival.

For the horse trials, the future royal wore a brown Zara jacket, Penelope Chilvers Long Tassel Boots, and Barmah hat. She was also wearing a Lola Rose Open Heart Quartz Pendant.

Always followed my photographers since her relationship with William was revealed, many got many snaps of her shopping while at the event. They also captured her chatting with friends of hers and William.

Royals and members of their circle are regularly seen in Gloucestershire at such events. William's cousin, Zara, has participated in the Gatcombe Horse Trials in the past.
