Italian State Visit to Belgium - Day 1
On Monday, the President of Italy, accompanied by his daughter, started a three-day state visit to Belgium. They were first officially welcomed by King Philippe and Queen Mathilde at the Royal Palace.
In the evening, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde hosted a gala dinner at Laeken Castle in honor of President Mattarella and his daughter Laura.
Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz were also in attendance.
In his speech, King Philippe said: “Relations between Italy and Belgium are as solid and fruitful as they are ancient. We are a splendid example of mutual enrichment. We share the same attachment to local traditions and a deep sense of compromise. This contributes to the harmonious functioning of our societies.”
Queen Mathilde first wore an Armani Privé outfit with Armani Privé pumps and a Giorgio Armani clutch. She also wore her Rolex watch.
In the evening, Queen Mathilde wore her Armani Privé fuchsia gown with her Laurel Wreath Tiara.
Princess Astrid wore a Safiyaa gown and cape.
