Crown Princess Mette-Marit brings her literature train to Germany
Crown Princess Mette-Marit is bringing her literature train to Germany today and tomorrow as part of the Crown Prince couple’s trip to the country to promote Norwegian literature.
Today’s trip went from Berlin to Cologne, and the main theme is Norwegian children's and youth literature. Children from schools in Berlin met the authors Maria Parr and Jostein Gaarder who read from their books and attend a drawing workshop organized by illustrators Anna Fiske and Svein Nyhus.
Once in Cologne, there was a meeting with the Norwegian authors Maja Lunde and Anne Sverdrup-Thygeson in the bookstore Ludwig. The event focused on nature and climate in the literature. Tomorrow, the train will go from Cologne to Frankfurt with a lot of Norwegian authors. The delegation will attend the opening of the Frankfurt Book Fair later that day where Norway is the guest of honor.
In Berlin and in the train, Mette-Marit wore a Zara navy belted coat with a white sleeveless dress and a pink cardigan. She also wore her Louboutin pumps at the train station before changing into her Louboutin flats on the train.
For the arrival in Cologne, Mette-Marit wore her Chloé coat with a new dress by By TiMo and her Louboutin pumps.
