Crown Princess Mette-Marit attends launch of her anthology
Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended a rare official event today! She took part in the launch of the ‘Hjemlandet og andre fortellinger’ (Homeland and Other Stories) anthology which she co-edited at Aschehoug Publishing House today.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit was asked to edit the anthology as part of her role as ambassador for Norwegian literature abroad and in connection with Norway being the guest country of the 2019 Frankfurt Book Fair next October. She chose writer Geir Gulliksen as co-editor. Mette-Marit and Gulliksen chose twelve authors to write short stories and essays based on questions about what it means to be Norwegian today. During the launch event today, some of those authors read their texts. The Norwegian Court announced that Mette-Marit will attend key events in connection with the Frankfurt Book Fair in the following weeks.
For this event, Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a black knit top with her yellow RIXO London ‘Tina’ tiger print skirt. She paired the outfit with brown Christian Louboutin pumps and her Loewe bicolor clutch.
