Crown Princess Mary takes part in UN International Girl's Day

Today, Crown Princess Mary took part in the UN International Girl's Day at Gasværksvejens School in Copenhagen.

The Crown Princess attended the event organized by the PlanChild Foundation to the United Nations International Girl Day. It aims to raise awareness of the issues that girls around the world are experiencing because of their gender. Mary also invited 14-years-old Farzana from Bangladesh to visit her at Amalienborg and attending the event with Mary. Farzana has been volunteering to combat child marriage and girls' right to attend school in the slum area of Citi Polli.

Mary wore her old Prada black coat with her Erdem printed blouse and black trousers. She also wore her Jimmy Choo ‘Billie’ pumps.
