Crown Princess Mary spends first day at Nairobi Summit

Today, Crown Princess Mary spent her first day in Kenya where she is attending the Nairobi Summit. The Summit focuses on women's and girls' rights as well as their sexual and reproductive health and rights. Denmark is hosting the summit with Kenya and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The Nairobi Summit marks the 25th anniversary of 179 countries' adoption of the Cairo Action Plan in 1994.

Crown Princess Mary had a packed day of events. She first attended the opening ceremony of the Summit before attending the panel debates “Rights and Choices for all”. She also attended several panel discussions in the afternoon. She also spoke at the signature session “Ending Unmet Need for Family Planning: Reproductive Rights and Contraceptive Choices”.

In the evening, Crown Princess Mary attended a dinner hosted by Kenya’s Foreign Minister.

For the day events, Mary wore her Michael Kors tulip chiffon print dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps, Prada pumps, her Cartier bracelet and Sophie Bille Brahe earrings.

In the evening, Mary wore a black top with a new Jesper Hovring printed skirt. It’s hard to tell which jewelry she wore but we assume she wore her Cartier bracelet. It also looks like she wore her yellow suede Gianvito Rossi pumps.
