King Felipe and Queen Letizia start state visit to Cuba

Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia had her first full day of events in Havana during their state visit to Cuba.

They were first officially welcomed by President Miguel Díaz-Canel at the headquarters of the State Council. Then, they laid a floral wreath at the José Martí memorial before attending signing the Framework Agreement for Country Cooperation between Spain and Cuba.

Queen Letizia then visited Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos school-workshop which was founded in 1992 with the support of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation. King Felipe joined the Queen to visit downtown Havana.

In the evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited an exhibition before attending a ballet performance and an official dinner.

For the day’s first events, Letizia wore her Carolina Herrera polka dot dress with her Nina Ricci clutch, her Steve Madden pumps, and her Karen Hallam ring.

For the second part of the day, Letizia wore her Carolina Herrera dress with her Mint & Rose wedges and her Karen Hallam ring.

In the evening, Letizia repeated a red halter dress she debuted this summer with her Jimmy Choo ‘Misty’ sandals and her Carolina Herrera clutch.
