Monegasque Princely Family celebrates 2020 National Day
Today, Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, their children, and members of the Princely family celebrated Monaco’s National Day. The celebrations were scaled-back this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Princess Caroline, Andrea and Tatiana Casiraghi, Pierre and Beatrice Casiraghi, Princess Alexandra as well as Louis and Marie Ducruet attended the Te Deum service in Monaco’s Cathedrale.
Afterward, they were joined by Prince Jacques, Princess Gabriella, and Pierre and Beatrice’s children to attend an official ceremony in the Palace’s courtyard. During the ceremony, Prince Albert’s 15th year of reign and the 150th anniversary of the Prince Guards were celebrated. Prince Albert also awarded the insignia of the Order of Grimaldi to the Monegasque Red Cross for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Princess Charlene wore a custom-made long coat by the Palace’s Atelier and black gloves from Cornelia James (with thanks to @royalcouturier). She paired the coat with her Akris fuchsia clutch, and Jimmy Choo kitten heel black suede pumps. She also wore a Christian Dior hat.
Princess Gabriella wore a navy dress by Jacadi with red velvet bow hair clips from the same brand . Prince Jacques wore his uniform of the Carabiniers.
Princess Caroline wore a Chanel black tweed skirt suit with white gloves, Chanel black pumps, and a Chanel black bag. Her black headband could be by Jennifer Behr (with thanks to Polka Popp).
Tatiana Casiraghi wore a grey tweed Prada coat with a matching grey tweed Pradamidi skirt, a black top, and black pumps. She also wore the ‘Katya’ headband by Jennifer Behr (with thanks to Polka Popp) and Agnelle gloves.
Beatrice Casiraghi wore a Christian Dior checked black skirt suit with Dior black shoes and clutch. She also wore Buccellati jewels.
Princess Alexandra wore a Christian Dior black coat with black pumps and a Christian Dior cherry red saddle bag.
