The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spend second day in Ireland

Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their second day in Ireland, attending events in Dublin, County Kildare, County Meath, and Howth.

They first visited Jigsaw, a mental health support service that aims to ensure that no young person feels isolated, unsupported or disconnected. During their visit, they learned more about the One Good Adult initiative which stresses the importance of one good mentor or role model in a young person's life.

Afterward, they went to Savannah House in County Kildare to visit Extern, Ireland's leading social justice charity where they helped cook vegetables and cookies. Before getting to work, they went to a local supermarket to buy the necessary supplies.

Then, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge traveled to County Meath to visit the Teagasc Animal and Grassland Research Centre where they learned about their pioneering research into sustainable farming. They were joined by a group of schoolchildren during the visit. Their last event of the day was a walk in Howth to “take in sweeping views of the Irish coastline on the famous cliff walk".

In the evening, William and Kate attended an official reception hosted by the Tánaiste, Simon Coveney at the Museum of Literature Ireland. During the reception, William and Kate were shown the first edition copy of James Joyce's novel "Ulysses" and the Duke of Cambridge gave an important speech on the relationship between the UK and Ireland after Brexit.

For the first events, Kate repeated her Reiss ‘Olivia’ coat which she first wore in 2007. She also wore her Equipment blouse and new Zara jeans (spotted by the amazing team at Kate’s Royal Closet). She also debuted Russell & Bromley ankle boots (with thanks to Middleton Maven) and Daniella Draper earrings (with thanks to @_ladyvalerie).

For their visit to County Kildare and County Meath, Kate changed into a new Dubarry of Ireland jacket (with thanks to Caroline Parr) and a new blouse by Barbour (with thanks to Laura). She kept her Zara jeans and Daniella Draper earrings but changed into her trusty Penelope Chilvers long tassel boots.

For the reception in the evening, Kate wore a vintage purple polka dot dress by Oscar de la Renta. She paired the dress with her Jimmy Choo ‘Celeste’ black clutch and matching Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ black pumps. She also debuted new earrings by Accessorize.
