Regal Review: Queen Margrethe's 75th Birthday Celebrations - Aarhus

On 16 April, Queen Margrethe of Denmark will celebrate her 80th birthday. Unfortunately, due to the current coronavirus crisis, the celebrations had to be canceled. (On that note, we hope you are all safe, taking care of yourselves and each other and staying home if you can!) Since we won’t be able to cover Queen Margrethe’s 80th birthday celebrations, we thought we’d take a trip down memory lane to her 75th birthday celebrations in 2015 in our new Regal Review series!

The celebrations started in Aarhus on 8 April 2015 with a series of events. Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik took part in a carriage ride through the city that bought them to the City Hall.
