Crown Princess Mary carries out several engagements in Copenhagen
Crown Princess Mary had a busy day in Copenhagen today as she carried out several engagements.
She first attended the inauguration of the Australian War Memorial in Denmark in Churchillparken with the Australian ambassador to Denmark Mary Ellen Miller. The Memorial honors Australian soldiers who lost their lives in Denmark in the First and Second World Wars.
Afterward, Crown Princess Mary visited the Information Center for the Monument to Denmark's international efforts after 1948 at the Kastellet. The information center was established in connection with the Monument for Denmark's International Efforts after 1948 and gives visitors an insight into the missions that Danish emissaries have been on since 1948.
In the afternoon, Crown Princess Mary attended a virtual meeting to launch the UN Population Fund UNFPA's newly established independent ICPD25 High Level Commission. The Commission aims to follow up on the global commitments made at the Nairobi Summit last November. Crown Princess Mary has agreed to become a member of the Commission.
Crown Princess Mary wore her Ralph Lauren floral print dress with her Max Mara blazer and Céline belt. She wore her Gianvito Rossi pumps and a neutral clutch with Dulong and Cartier jewels.
