Crown Princess Mette-Marit makes digital speech at Food and Health Conference 2021

Today, Crown Princess Mette-Marit made a digital speech to open the 2021 Food and Health Conference. The conference marks the 100th anniversary of the inclusion of food and health as subjects in school.

In her speech, Crown Princess Mette-Marit said: “It is important that children and young people learn how much in life is connected. And that we are all whole people with both completely different and completely universal needs.[...]The food and health subject in school is therefore a very basic subject that can contribute to creating healthy people, who understand the contexts of life.”

Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a blue perforated top with her Venyx earrings. While it is the first time she is wearing it publicly, we believe it is old as Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore the same top in white during the Crown Prince couple’s official visit to Ethiopia in 2017.
