Dutch State Visit to Norway - Day 2
Today, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent their second day in Oslo as they continue their state visit to Norway.
In the morning, King Harald, Queen Sonja, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima visited the Deichman Library in Oslo where they attended a seminar on freedom of expression and hate speech. The Royal couples also toured the library.
Afterward, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima had a meeting with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
The Dutch royal couple then attended a lunch hosted by the government in their honor at Akershus Castle which King Harald, Queen Sonja, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit also attended.
In the afternoon, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted a reception for the Dutch community living in Norway on the Dutch naval vessel HMS Rotterdam.
They were joined afterward by Crown Princess Mette-Marit for a meeting on defense cooperation between the Netherlands and Norway.
In the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted a concert for King Harald and Queen Sonja. The concert took place in the new building of the MUNCH Museum - which the Norwegian royal family officially opened a few weeks ago - and Dutch cellist Harriët Krijgh performed.
For the day events, Queen Maxima wore her Jan Taminiau navy and gold outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps.
Queen Sonja wore an animal printed dress with Eliot Zed shoes and her Chanel black bag.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Oscar de la Renta dress with her Max Mara coat. She paired the outfit with her Manolo Blahnik pumps, Aspinal of London clutch, and her Venyx earrings. For the meeting on HMS Rotterdam, Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Tome sleeveless trench coat instead of her Max Mara coat.
For the concert, Queen Maxima wore a new Claes Iversen gown with her Gianvito Rossi gold sandals and Begum Khan gold clutch.
Queen Sonja wore a jacquard jacket over a blue gown with a Judith Leiber clutch.
