Queen Maxima takes part in IDH-CGAP Gender Transformative Business Models Event

Today, Queen Maxima digitally took part in the IDH-CGAP Gender Transformative Business Models Event in her role as the UN Secreatray-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development.

In her speech, Queen Maxima said: “The time for action is now. This affects us all. Rural women contribute substantially to the 5 trillion-dollar global industry of food and agribusiness. It is high time we acknowledge their efforts and potential and support them where we can. These investments will boost your company’s competitive edge and improve the lives of millions of rural women.”

It’s hard to say for sure but Queen Maxima could have been wearing her RIXO dress and Tom Ford glasses.
