After a longer meeting at Zarzuela Palace between King Felipe and the President, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a private lunch for the Italian President and his daughter.

In the evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a gala dinner in honor of the President of Italy and his daughter at the Royal Palace.

In his speech, King Felipe said: A united Europe is a necessary condition to achieve the progress and well-being of our societies and to avoid the decline, fragmentation and even the confrontation that led Europeans in other times to the most dramatic moments in our history.[…]For this reason, we must also recognize - with humility, but also with pride - the need that the rest of Europe, and the world, have for the contribution of our two nations. As a friend and admirer of your country, I also want to tell you that without Italy there is no Europe ”.

For the welcome ceremony and the lunch, Queen Letizia wore her Hugo Boss cape with a repeated dress, Magrit pumps, and a new Furla bag (with thanks to Nuria). She also wore a Hugo Boss belt, her Chanel earrings, and her Karen Hallam ring.

For the gala dinner, Queen Letizia wore a new black gown that is reportedly by Giorgio Armani (with thanks to Nuria) with her Manolo Blahnik pumps, her Bottega Veneta clutch, and her Karen Hallam ring.
