Today, Queen Maxima visited Lab6 in Amsterdam to discuss initiatives for young people’s mental health.

She first learned about the 'Thrive Amsterdam Mentally Healthy' social movement which aims to promote mental health by connecting Amsterdammers and organizations in order to learn from each other, inspire each other and encourage each other.

She also talked with representatives of @ease which is active in five cities and wants to offer a place where young people feel welcome and where no one is alone when things go wrong. Afterward, she toured the Lab6 building which offers all young people from Amsterdam the opportunity to develop in the creative and social field.

She saw the El Mazouni Coaching and Sports Guidance where she spoke with two girls who are coached by El Mazouni and she also spoke with young people who make music and write song lyrics, and with children from the neighborhood told about their experiences with mental health.

Queen Maxima also learned how the municipalities of Someren and Peel & Maas promote the mental health of young people in their region.

Queen Maxima wore her Natan dress with her Gianvito Rossi grey pumps. She also wore her Dinh Van bracelet.
