King Felipe and Queen Letizia attend the 2019 and 2020 APM Journalism Awards

Tonight, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the 2019 and 2020 APM Journalism Awards at the Cibeles Palace in Madrid.

The 2019 and 2020 awards were decided by the Madrid Press Association. The winners are Francisco Giménez-Alemán (APM Award of Honor), Carlos Franganillo (APM Award for the Best Journalist of the Year 2019), Carlos Alsina (APM Award for the Best Journalist of the Year 2020), Clara Jiménez Cruz (APM Award for Young Journalist of the Year 2019), Jaime Santirso (APM Award for the Young Journalist of the Year 2020), Constantino Mediavilla (APM Award to the Specialized Journalist in Madrid 2019).

Fernando Peinado, Laura Galaup, Elena Jiménez, and Manuel Rico were collectively awarded the APM Award for Specialized Journalist in Madrid 2020 to show the value of investigative journalism, especially for a choral work through different media as the recipients are working for four different Spanish media. King Felipe also made a speech during the ceremony.

Queen Letizia wore her Carolina Herrera pink coat with her Hugo Boss black top and Reiss skirt. She paired the outfit with her Steve Madden boots and Carolina Herrera clutch and she wore her Karen Hallam ring as well as a mix and match of her Gold & Roses earrings.
