Crown Princess Mary officially receives the new defibrillator at Amaliehaven as Patron of the Heart Association

Today, Crown Princess Mary officially received the new defibrillator at Amaliehaven as Patron of the Heart Association. In 2019, the association set up the Heart Association's National Distribution, from which all money raised went to the distribution and setup of more than 400 new defibrillators across the country.

It was Crown Princess Mary’s wish that the defibrillator is set up in a place in Copenhagen where many people pass by so it could be easily accessed. Indeed, on average, 14 people are affected daily by cardiac arrest outside a hospital in Denmark.

Crown Princess Mary met with the Heart Association's CEO Anne Kaltoft at Amaliehaven today to see the new defibrillator. Amaliehaven was chosen by the Heart Association as it is next to Amalienborg and there are usually a lot of Danish people as well as tourists.

Crown Princess Mary wore her Ted Baker Kaarina top with her Fonnesbech long trench coat.
