Princess Leonor attends her first solo engagement as the Cervantes Institute celebrates its 30th anniversary

Today was a big day for Princess Leonor as the 15-years-old Princess of Asturias attended her first solo engagement in Madrid.

It was a symbolic engagement as she visited the Cervantes Institute to deposit the copy of the Constitution that she read on October 31, 2018, and the copy of Don Quixote whose reading she shared on April 23, 2020, with Infanta Sofía.

During her visit, Princess Leonor also heard about the Cervantes Institute’s 30th-anniversary celebrations and learn about their digitalization project. The director of the Cervantes Institute also gifted Princess Leonor three books before showing her books from the bibliographic collection of the Cervantes Institute written in the co-official languages ​​of Spain.

For her first solo engagement, Princess Leonor repeated her Poète dress and her Pretty Ballerinas shoes.
