King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attend the start of King's Games in Amersfoort

Today, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended the official start of the King’s Games in Amersfoort. The ninth edition of the King's Games revolves around the importance of together with the theme 'I + you = we'.

During their visit, the royal couple took part in a quiz about healthy eating and exercise before watching the children taking part in a number of sports activities. During the year, 6,100 Dutch schools and nearly 1.3 million primary school students will take part in the Games.

Queen Maxima wore her Oscar de la Renta embroidered coat over her Claes Iversen pantsuit and blouse. She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi ‘Laura’ red boots and Delvaux red bag. Her new earrings are by Zara (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima).
