The visit lasted around an hour and to conclude this amazing moment for the children, they received a digital greeting from Princess Madeleine who has been the Patron of Min Stora Dag since 2001. Princess Madeleine said told the children:

“Hey! I hope you had a great time at the castle. I'm so sorry I could not be there and show you around and show you where I, my sister and my brother hid or where we thought it might be haunted. But I hope I may be able to do it another time! Take care. I hope we will see each other soon. Hug hug!”

Min Stora Dag, similar to the United States based Make A Wish Foundation, gives seriously ill children a chance to make their dreams come true. Whether that be visiting a special place, meeting a role model, or getting to do a once in a life time experience- they have done it all.

Princess Madeleine wore a new Rebecca Taylor floral printed dress (with thanks to Elena).
