The Duchess of Cambridge shares seventh and final phone call of Hold Still series

Today, Kensington Palace shared the seventh and final video of the Hold Still phone calls series, this time discussing the 'Be Safe Daddy' photo.

The photo shows Poppy hugging her dad while he was leaving for his night shift. Poppy’s dad is a paramedic and Poppy was very worried about him. During the phone call, the Duchess of Cambridge talked with Poppy and her mother Ceri who took and submitted the photograph. The Duchess said that the photo “held so much within that one image of strength and courage and resilience and the tenderness and the importance of family but also acknowledging the work on the front lines and the different generations as well.”

The Duchess of Cambridge wore her Whistles blouse which she wore for her engagement photo in 2011 with her Jigsaw trousers. She also wore earrings borrowed from the Queen and her Mappin & Webb necklace.
