Jun 16 Crown Princess Victoria attends two events at the Royal Palace

Today, Crown Princess Victoria attended two events at the Royal Palace.

She first joined her father King Carl Gustaf to attend a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee. The Foreign Affairs Committee is a consultative body between the Riksdag and the government, of which the King is chairman. The committee consists of the Speaker and nine other members from the Riksdag as well as nine deputies.

Afterward, Crown Princess Victoria took part in a video call with Act Svenska Kyrkan of which she is Patron. During the meeting, she heard more about their current activities focusing on humanitarian disaster relief work and long-term development assistance work with projects in agricultural development, gender equality, and peacekeeping work.
