The Duchess of Cambridge announces the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood
Today, the Duchess of Cambridge has announced the launch of her new initiative, the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.
The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood will commission high-quality research to increase knowledge and share best practice, work with people from across the private, public and voluntary sectors to collaborate on new solutions, and develop creative campaigns to raise awareness. To coincide with the launch, he Centre released their first report Big Change Starts Small.
In the video announcing the launch, the Duchess of Cambridge says: “Working closely with others, the Centre hopes to raise awareness of why the first five years of life are just so important for our future life outcomes, and what we can do as a society to embrace this golden opportunity to create a happier, more mentally healthy, more nurturing society. By working together, my hope is that we can change the way we think about early childhood, and transform lives for generations to come. Because I truly believe big change starts small.”
In the video, the Duchess of Cambridge wore her Ralph Lauren white top with her Freya Rose earrings and Daniella Draper necklace with the initials of her children.
