Queen Letizia presides over celebrations of the Patron of the Municipal Police of Madrid

Today, Queen Letizia presided over the celebrations of San Juan Bautista the Patron of the Municipal Police of Madrid.

Upon her arrival, the national anthem was played and Queen Letizia reviewed the troops.

Afterward, Queen Letizia took part in the awarding of the Medals of Professional Merit and the Crosses of Merit.

The Queen then attended a parade of all the representative Units of the Municipal Police, as well as the bodies invited to the event.

To conclude the event, Queen Letizia posed for a photograph with policewomen to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the admission of women in the Madrid Municipal Police Corps.

Queen Letizia wore her Salvatore Ferragamo red dress with her Carolina Herrera nude slingback pumps. She paired the outfit with her Aldao Joyeros earrings and Karen Hallam gold ring.
