Queen Maxima visits the Eye Film Museum on its 75th anniversary

Today, Queen Maxima visited the Eye Film Museum in Amsterdam to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

Queen Maxima first visited the Eye Collection Centre where she spoke with collection managers and restorers about the management, restoration and research of more than 54,000 films that the film museum has collected since 1946.

Afterward, she officially launched the Museum’s new project Eye on Screens. During two years, images from the Museum’s film collection can be seen on outdoor screens at stations, squares and shopping centers throughout the Netherlands.

Queen Maxima also visited the Museum and heard more about the Museum’s activities, their educational programs and their new streaming platform Eye Film Player.

Queen Maxima wore her Zimmermann printed lace dress with her Gianvito Rossi suede pumps and Sophie Habsburg bordeaux clutch.
