Today, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde took part in a ceremony marking the National Day of Mourning following the tragic floods that hit the country this past week.

The couple took part in a minute of silence before talking with families who were affected by the floods and emergency services who have worked tirelessly to help those affected during this difficult time.

On a quick fashion note, Queen Mathilde wore her Carolina Herrera houndstooth dress with her Diane von Furstenberg black clutch and black snakeskin pumps that could be by Manolo Blahnik. She also wore a Fabienne Delvigne headband (with thanks to ModeKoninginMathilde) and her Rolex watch.
