Finnish State Visit to Sweden - Day 2
On Wednesday, the President and First Lady of Finland spent their last day in Sweden attending engagements in Gothenburg with King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
The Royal Couple and the Presidential Couple first visited the University of Gothenburg where President Stubb gave a speech.
Afterward, they attended an official lunch hosted by the Governor before walking to Stenpiren where they met the CEO of Gothenburg’s Port. They traveled by boat to the port of Gothenburg, which is the largest in the Nordic region, and received a presentation of the port during the boat trip.
The Royal Couple and the Presidential Couple then went to Fästningsholmen where they met with the Amphibious Regiment.
In the evening, the President and the First Lady hosted a reception at the Gothenburg Museum of Art in honor of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
The President and the First Lady then concluded their state visit with a farewell ceremony at Landvetter Airport.
Queen Silvia first wore a Camilla Thulin jacket with her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.
In the evening, Queen Silvia wore her Georg et Arend outfit with her Kalevala necklace and brooch and her usual bracelets.
