Crown Princess Mary attends EliteForsk Awards Ceremony

Today, Crown Princess Mary attended the EliteForsk Awards Ceremony in Copenhagen. The EliteForsk Awards are awarded each year by the Ministry of Education and Research leading researchers in their field with the aim of creating awareness of research in Denmark.

This year, Crown Princess Mary handed out the awards to Professor Eva Boxenbaum, Professor Anders Engberg-Pedersen, Chief Physician Emil Loldrup Fosbøl, Professor Gemma Clare Solomon Larsen, and Professor Signe Normand.

The winners received 1,2 million DKK, of which 200.000 DKK is given as a personal honorary award, and 1 million DKK goes to research activities.

During the ceremony, Crown Princess Mary also awarded an EliteForsk travel scholarship of 200.000 DKK, which can be used on a long-term study in an international research environment to 20 Ph.D. students.

Crown Princess Mary wore her No.21 dress with her Prada pumps and Carlend Copenhagen clutch. She paired the outfit with her Dulong and Orit Elhanati necklace as well as her Rebekka Notkin bracelet and Dulong ring.
