Crown Princess Victoria visits Västerbotten County
Today, Crown Princess Victoria was in Umeå and Skellefteå as she visited Västerbotten County to highlight their efforts during the pandemic. Prince Daniel was supposed to join her but he had to cancel because of a cold.
Last night, Crown Princess Victoria arrived in Umeå and attended a dinner at Tonka Restaurant hosted by the Governor.
This morning, she started her visit to Umeå by a tour of the City Mission. She attended a meeting to hear more about the pandemic and its effects on the city mission's activities.
Crown Princess Victoria then visited Maja Beskow High School where she met students to hear about their experiences of what it was like to go to high school during the pandemic and how it has affected them. She also toured the school.
Afterward, Crown Princess Victoria traveled to Skellefteå where her first stop was Sara Kulturhus. Crown Princess Victoria and the governor had lunch in the restaurant of the Kulturhus where a Sami dish was served before touring the Kulturhus.
After the tour, Crown Princess Victoria attended a presentation by Fransesca Quartey, CEO of Västerbotten Theater, who quoted "The Hill We Climb by Amanda Gorman, translated by Jason Diakité (Timbuktu). She then talked about how the pandemic affected the theater.
Crown Princess Victoria also watched a short performance of " When the prince came to the village" which is a free interpretation of Torgny Lindgren's play "In variegated leaf water".
To conclude her visit, the Crown Princess went to Northvolt, where the CEO Peter Carlsson explained how the company handled the pandemic and the work of completing the battery factory.
For the dinner yesterday evening, Crown Princess Victoria wore a new black Toteme jacket over her Dagmar dress. She also wore her Gianvito Rossi pumps, her Rebecca Minkoff clutch, and her Edblad earrings.
Today, Crown Princess Victoria wore her By Malina checked suit with her & Other Stories dotted blouse. She paired the outfit with her Ralph Lauren ankle boots and Little Liffner bag. She also wore Dulong earrings, her Epoch watch, and her usual stack of bracelets.
