Today, Crown Princess Mary inaugurated the new Campus Horsens at VIA University College in Horsens.

Crown Princess Mary cut the ribbon to officially open the Campus before touring the facilities and meeting students.

The new Campus will house 27 different professional bachelor programs and a total of 3,700 students from 45 different countries. In the area around the new campus, there will also be a social and health school, an artisan college, a culture house for young people, and an integrated institution.

The construction of the building was sustainable and focused on energy optimization, low operating costs, and a good indoor climate. The idea behind the new building was to create a vibrant learning environment, where technology and welfare go hand-in-hand across professions, and where the latest knowledge about sustainable solutions and technology is always in focus.
