Princess Ingrid Alexandra attends several events to mark her 18th birthday
As Princess Ingrid Alexandra turned 18 years old today, she attended her first Council of State as an observer. King Harald and Crown Prince Haakon also attended as they have a seat in the Council.
Afterward, Princess Ingrid Alexandra received representatives from several institutions who wanted to congratulate her on her birthday. Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit also attended the event.
She received representatives from the Storting, the government, the Supreme Court, Sametinget, the County Governors, the diplomatic corps, the Norwegian Armed Forces, the Church of Norway, the Council for Religious and Life Stance Communities in Norway, the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities and the City of Oslo.
It was also announced Princess Ingrid Alexandra was made a Grand Cross of the Norwegian Order of St Olav. Two new official photos of the family were also released. The first one is a photo of Princess Ingrid Alexandra with her parents, her siblings, her paternal grandparents, and her maternal grandmother while the other one is a photo of the three generations with King Harald and Crown Prince Haakon.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra wore a white Alexander McQueen dress, which belongs to her mother, with black pumps and her ruby heart pendant.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Oscar de la Renta dress with navy pumps and her Cartier ring.
