Belgian State Visit to Lithuania - Day 2
On Tuesday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde continued their State Visit to Lithuania to mark the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Belgium and Lithuania.
The Royal Couple and the Lithuanian Presidential Couple first took part in the Belgium-Lithuania Business Forum.
Afterward, they visited Sunrise Valley Science & Technology Park. Universities, start-ups, and technology companies settle there to develop innovative activities and create synergies.
In the afternoon, the Royal Couple and the Presidential Couple visited the historic center of Vilnius, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. In St. Michael’s Church Heritage Museum, Queen Mathilde had the opportunity to see the Tombstone of Lew Sapieha, an ancestor of her mother Anna Maria Komorowska.
In the evening, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde hosted a return event for the Presidential Couple.
Musicians from La Monnaie and the Belgian National Orchestra performed during the event.
Queen Mathilde first wore a Natan outfit with red pumps, a Fabienne Delvigne clutch, and a Fabienne Delvigne hat. In the afternoon, she changed from her pumps into Natan ballet flats.
In the evening, Queen Mathilde wore a Giorgio Armani outfit with Giorgio Armani accessories and repeated earrings.
