Danish Royal Family attends 2022 Opening of Parliament

On Tuesday, Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, and Princess Benedikte attended the opening of parliament at Christianborg Castle. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie didn’t attend as they are currently living in France.

The Opening of Parliament takes place each year on the first Tuesday of October in the Parliament at Christianborg Palace.

The family has a passive role in this opening so they only listen to the speeches and Queen Margrethe does not make a speech.

Crown Princess Mary wore her Claes Iversen coat with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Carlend Copenhagen clutch. She paired the outfit with her Jane Taylor hat and her Dulong necklace.
